First Day of School celebration will be organised for big and small readers (and non-readers) on September 1 at 12 noon in the Museum of Jaunmokas Palace. This year we invite to participate in the Big competition of board games “Burtošanas čempionāts” (Spelling Bee). Competition will be lead by design project IK Kurland Woodcake – the authors of game “Ventiņu Domino” and other games.

What you have to do? Come together with a friend, family or group of friends up to 5 people and play game “Burtošanas čempionāts”!! Winners will get prizes from IK Kurland Woodcake and the Museum of Jaunmokas Palace. More detailed rules www.jaunmokupils.lv

The day will begin with a performance of children vocal group “Varavīksne” from Tukums, but at the Forestry Museum – creative workshops with natural materials for everyone to try out.

Pre-school age and school age children get a free entrance, adults – entrance ticket of museum!! Cafe “Liepaleja” will offer delicious meals for the hungry ones.
