With the LVM Kalsnava Arboretum's visit in Rīga the quiet tourist season has begun. In the “Arboretum's Day”, which took place on October 25, in the LVM Embassy we told, showed, consulted, listened and were together.
Even though the quiet season marks the beginning of peace in nature, arboretum hasn't stopped it activities. Cones, lichens, moss, nuts, different natural materials found in arboretum's territory are being collected so that they could be turned into beautiful Advent wreaths and Christmas decorations.
LVM Kalsnava Arboretum invites previously registered groups of schools, friends, colleagues (starting from 10 persons). Together we will indulge in “Christmas creative workshops” to create an atmosphere of the approaching holidays. There are less than two months left until Christmas – preparation has to start early!
In the workshops we allow free, creative approach in creating your own Advent wreath or Christmas decoration. Surprise your closest ones, friends, colleagues with a handmade gift!
To create an Advent wreath – bring ideas, candles and some preferred decoration elements. We will provide the base of wreath and different natural materials, hot glue guns and a pleasant atmosphere.
Participation fee:
Schoolchildren – 3 Eur
